I have traveled regularly for nearly three decades, and this is the first time I have ever written a hotel review. This particular stay, however, was truly exceptional. My experience at this hotel made my trip to Cassis incredibly special. It was pure magic from beginning to end and gave me a wonderful taste of what this breathtaking part of France has to offer. Every inch of the hotel was beautiful, thoughtful, and absolutely flawless. To top it off, the staff was among the most hospitable I have ever encountered. From the moment I walked into the lobby, I was treated as though I had been a longtime VIP guest. Everyone was kind, gracious, attentive, and genuinely welcoming, especially Camille and Jonathan. My apologies for not remembering everyone’s names, but I must say this was truly the finest hotel experience I have ever had. The entire staff was incredibly generous and made every effort to accommodate every possible request during my stay. I also noticed that they provided the same exceptional level of service to every guest, from the youngest to the not so young. Camille and Jonathan, in particular, went above and beyond to make sure I had the very best experience. We stayed at the lovely villa, up the road from the main property, so check in was only a little more complicated because someone had to meet us and escort us there. No problem, it was a great stay!! Isabelle communicated well and made the check in process easy. Our view from the terrace of the villa was amazing, and we really enjoyed the hot tub on the deck. It was also great to have a washer to catch up with laundry on our 3 week driving trip (no dryer but a drying rack, and everything was dry by the next morning). Since the villa is quite a walk up the hill we were advised to drive down to the main property and park there to walk into town, which worked out very well—the main property is very close to the harbor, and no long climb back up after! The harbor is lovely with many good restaurants. Cassis is beautiful and we are so glad we were able to make this one of our stops. Of course, we only wish we could have stayed longer!!
