「The accomodation was nice and comfortable and the food was good. The staff were friendly. Parking easy. However the cockeral started crowing at 2 am outside our door and it went through the night both nights so we did not really get much sleep during our stay. The cockeral spoilt it for us I'm afraid but if that does not bother you then its a nice hotel.」

「Somehow we got a Standard cottage which I think is a Hotels.com glitch but we were happy with it. Not many other people otherwise the cottages may have been a bit close together, also quite near the road (Pinotage cottage). Nice pool and spa and deck that looks out onto a dry field with zebra and springbok. Nice view onto the mountains. Well-situated.」

「We often visit but this was our first stay. Was disappointing that accommodation was on a difficult piece of land away from the restaurant and cultural heritage museum. Was too much effort early mornings to trek kms away for our paid breakfast so we didn't have any. Couldn't shower as all showers are outside (too cold to venture outside) and bath water didn't heat up. Furniture needs tlc. Headboard in main room was not clean. No microwave To heat a quick meal. No guestbook re: restaurant times,...

「We really enjoyed our stay at Sunbird view. Our 2 little dogs loved the pet friendly accommodation and played on the big lawn most of the day. Lovely outside braai area. The Unit was nice and clean, there was some problems with the bedside lamps, it did not really bother us a lot, we asked the owner to fix it when we left. Nice big fridge freezer. You have to drive to the beach. We will stay there again.」
