One would think the staff would be extra helpful and hospitable given the fact that it was empty and we still came. There are no security features. Anyone can get on any elevator and go right into the guests halls. The hotel charges for everything. ..water, extra people in the room. Definitely not worth the price they charge. I would not stay here again.」

「This is a unique property, being g a historic hotel. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful, the lobby very attractive and the bar and restaurant very good. But be prepared for some quirky things. There are no phones in the rooms, nor common amenities like coffee machine, mini fridge or microwaves. The elevator is amazing, the oldest in the eastern U.S. and one of only 2 like it, the other is in Paris. It will only fit about 4 people, 3 if you have luggage, as there has to be an employee...

「I was attracted by the exterior and the location before I ever checked the living accommodations. The exterior was well maintained, the pool would have looked inviting if it hadn't been cold and rainy, I liked the idea of the tables near the pool for pleasant gatherings. The studio was nicely decorated, tasteful and bright. The kitchen area was adequate for a vacation when cooking isn't at the top of the list. 「Our stay at ICONA Diamond Beach was above par. The resort amenities, room, cleanliness overall, and above board staff were all we could ask for. The restaurant menu, staff and food were very accommodating. We didn’t utilize the bar, but it appeared to be very well stocked. Fast wi-fi availability was a plus. We loved the view of the beach from our balcony. The resort was all it was advertised to be. We would highly recommend a stay here. 」

「Do not book here. Checked in, went to room, and left immediately. Hairballs on the bed, stained sheets and floor, dirty bathtub, smelled like smoke, deadbolt lock broken. Asked for a refund and the refused. The least a hotel should be is clean and safe and this dump was 0/2. 」

「Staff let us check in early after a long ride and very welcoming. The ocean view was stunning and the room was clean with plenty of supplies. The only downside is the wifi connection was poor. Otherwise, would definitely recommend it to anyone!」

「My biggest complaint is the incorrect description of the room. While I booked the room with the ocean view, I only got partial view of the ocean, as my balcony was facing their parking lot. Musty odor in the room. There is a coffee maker, but no coffee pods. Towels were very rough. Check in was also problematic. The location is great though. The bed was comfortable.」
