「We spent a lovely 5 nights at the Gite de Cambalu which was well equipped and very well situated for visiting the towns and chateaux (especially Chenonceau) of the Loire valley. The setting in the countryside was very peaceful and it really nice to eat fresh eggs in the morning from the farm courtesy of our host. 「Place was excellent, great for a cycling trip with work mates. Slight issue when we turned up, but Giles sorted out straight away. Place was great five stars all over. The only thing that was annoying was the flies. Thousands of them. We went out and bought about ten fly strips which when we put up had hundreds of flies on them. Rooms were excellent, massive fire place which was great. Hot water always there and a great swimming pool. It was a bit damp and musky in the downstairs bedrooms....
