"Breakfast was mostly unhealthy. Lots of calories and grease. For those of us who try to eat healthy they could provide hot oatmeal(not the instant packets) and more cold cereals. Pastries were really sweet; there are plainer healthier pastries like muffins. Staying in a cottage it would be nicer to have real coffee cups not the Styrofoam. At least for the cottages. Have to say I was disappointed with the pool. Guess I was expecting a real pool"

"Claudia at front desk and other staff that were on the days we stayed at the Motel were outstanding! They accommodated our needs without hesitation and were very pleasant and professional. Gas fire in evening was very appreciated, having the option to sit at the bonfire by the water was a bonus! Areas to sit outside were perfect and we were able to enjoy the waves, and peace of the lake; THE BEST part of the stay. Had we stayed longer we would have enjoyed the pool, bikes and kayaks! (For sure will next time we visit). Also, we will be sure to reserve a room facing the beach. Location was perfect to enjoy the charm of Baileys Harbor by foot."

"The property and location are both wonderful. Our host , Bill, was very nice and friendly. He tried to be helpful but the property Is tired and needs a goods cleaning out and organizing. The house was well equipped but the grill wasn’t usable, the tv system didn’t work and Bill couldn’t fix it although he tried. The garage is full of stuff to be thrown away and the ping pong table was not in a usable condition."

"This is an amazing place to stay on the waterfront of Lake Michigan. Although during the on season it seems a bit pricey, it was worth every cent we paid. It was roomy and accommodating for our party. The great room was perfect for a gathering space. The bridgeTo the beach was perfect and it was an excellent spot to hang out."

"This little haven in Baileys Harbor is a pure joy of a home and setting. It's nestled close to highway Q with easy access to wherever you wish to go. The home was clean, cherry-themed (of course), and absolutely marvelous as a pet-friendly setting. The kitchen and rooms were clean, well-laid out for some privacy and the communal space downstairs and in the back with the fire pit was fantastic for just hanging. We couldn't have asked for a better location or experience, topped off by some spectacular stars and roasted marshmallows in the late evening. Recommend this location highly."
