"The house worked perfectly for our family, was a great place to stay and get ready for our adventures each day. We cooked most of our meals there, which was pleasant so we weren't constantly eating out. We spent time outside the house too as it was so beautiful to see and hear the water daily."

"This cute cottage was better than we expected. We have stayed in many VRBOs and I had come to the conclusion that most owners just "phone it in" in terms of decorating, cleaning, etc. Not so with this cottage. It was spotless inside and out. The landscaping is phenomenal. The decorating is understated and not cliche' at all. I can't recommend the cabin enough. My husband dropped something on the floor in the bedroom and had to look under the bed while looking for it and even under the bed was spotless. We drank our coffee outside each morning and were able to hear a barred owl. It was so quiet and peaceful. We had never been to Door County but watched an Andrew Zimmern show about it so decided to go. It is a little known gem, at least in Virginia no one had heard of it. We hiked, we went out to Washington Island and rode bikes, we walked the cute little towns and shopped, and we ate delicious food. It started getting crowded in the towns on Friday before we left but it was Labor Day weekend. We cannot wait to come back and see even more. Would definitely stay in this cottage again."

"Beautiful home away from the busyness of most of Door County.Close enough to get to everywhere we wanted to go. Very spacious with three bedrooms and 3 full bathrooms was perfect for our family. Lots of room to spread out in. Well stocked kitchen. Chris was always quick to respond to questions.Across road from waterfront, but a very quiet road and beautiful views of the secluded bay and the Cana Island lighthouse. We enjoyed walking to the lighthouse and the Bues boat landing and views of Moonlight Bay.Two kayaks are available for use, which was terrific--a bit difficult to get them down the rocks into the water, but we made Chris aware of this and he plans to have this addressed for next seasonWould highly recommend staying here for your trip to Door County and Bailey’s Harbor!"
