Really special 1950s resort, cleaned and improved for 21st century. Wonderful couple serves fresh coffee all day and the occasional slice of Kringle from the office window. There is a clean pool, a nice relaxing outdoor space behind the rooms, lovely gardens (shaggy and flowerful, just the way I like them). The couple keeps everything in good repair, recent paint, easy parking, nifty updated tile bathrooms with '50s tile patterns that were straight out of Better Homes and Gardens, circa 1957, updated with modern plumbing, fair prices for Door County, and across street from Peninsula State Park (with 18 hole and par three golf courses), and just south of the Village of Ephraim, one of Door County's gems. Scenic, quiet, and a step back to an easier pace of life. We had a great weekend, as will you and your family!
There is terrible water pressure in the shower. The TV is very small and a Ruku set-up that was hard to figure out. Office is open 8-10am and 3-5pm. No coffee in the room, walk to the office to get a cup of coffee. No maid service for the 3 nights we were there ... not even fresh towels, replacement water cups or trash removal. No ice machine, again walk to the office for that. It is rather a "rustic" experience over all ... not my cup of tea. Bathroom sink is so small, you can't wash your hair in it (has much better water pressure than the shower).
Owners are very nice people. The room was very clean. I wouldn't stay again because of the inconveniences and lack of amenities.
We loved this old style motel .Check in and check out was friendly and informative. The location right across from the park was great. We will stay here again when we come back to this area!
The Anniversary Suite was great! Very comfortable. The staff was super friendly. There was even wood out by the fire pit so we can chill by a fire after all our days adventures. I will definitely come back for another stay.

The resort rooms were very clean and comfortable. It was quiet and very peaceful.
Very cozy cabin-style accomodations. We had the "Anniversary Suite" which is the house on the property. The place was clean and comfortable, and right in the center of Door County with easy access to several of the towns. The owners were also very friendly and caring about their property. Will definitely stay again.
We had a most enjoyable stay at the Penisula-Parkview Resort. I would not call it a resort, though. It was more a motel. With that said, it is impeccibly clean and comfortable. It is still 5 stars.
Clean and comfortable. Staff was friendly and informative. Location was convenient to State Park and close to multiple towns. Enjoyed riding bikes provided by facility. Owner was on site and offered assistance from accessing room to checking bicycle tires, etc. Will absolutely come back!
Peninsula Park View is a taste of the "old Door County" that I remember from growing up. Our sweet proprietors focused on service, cleanliness and making sure we were fully comfortable. Our room was charming, quiet, and the beds were comfy. Wisconsin hospitality at it's finest!
Quiet for the most part. I wouldn’t say it’s a “resort, more a motel. Some bugs in our room but nothing crazy. Easy checkin and check out. Parking is a tad awkward but there isn’t alot of space to change it. Location is great. Bathroom could use a full curtain. We enjoyed our stay.

Liked: Cleanliness, staff & service
The property is older but quaint. Located across from a park. We couldn't take advantage of it, but it looked great, and they have bikes to use. It's on a busy corner with heavy traffic and near a small airport so that was noisy, also. The staff and owners were friendly and helpful.
