"There aren't really any minus points here at all. One small one for me was my disability so the sofa area was a bit low for me but this place (and I'm always reluctant to let everyone know when I find a diamond place to stay) was otherwise perfect. Obviously big enough for a family of four as the second bedroom has bunk beds . Nice little bit of front patio and table and outside table and chairs already there for you. Used to holiday in this area as a kid and there's enough arcades with walking...

"We had a lovely week at California Halt. The weather was great, so we made full use of the beach up the road. The location of the cottage was ideal and it was very clean. The owners had thought of every detail to make sure we had everything we needed."

"Filthy and disgusting. I would not recommend this property to anyone. Smells like damp mouldy cheese that we later found out to be the drip tray behind the fridge. It was liquid and mouldy. The toilet seat was loose and wouldn't tighten. The skirting boards were dirty and dusty. We found a mouldy sponge under the kitchen cupboard. No toilet roll. No hand wash. Mouldy bathroom. Dirty toilet. Bins hadn't been emptied. Dead woodlice in the bedroom on the floor. Dirty on top of the fridge. Brown bug...
