Feel cozy and well taken care of in the MicroNest by Birdstone. This 450 sq ft stylish apartment is situated high up in the trendy downtown Beltline with amazing views of the city. Only minutes away from the world famous Stampede grounds. Discover many fantastic restaurants, pubs and hot spots within short walking distance on 17th Ave, Stephen Ave, First Street, etc. Enjoy a revitalizing walk along the nearby Bow River or take an adventurous road trip to Banff or Drumheller.
You will walk in to an open concept apartment with kitchen, dining and living room flowing together. The 3 piece bathroom is off the main entrance and has a deep soaker tub and handheld shower. The bedroom has a queen size bed with luxurious Egyptian cotton sheets. There’s a large closet with shelving to keep your clothes looking tidy during your stay. Both the living room and bedroom have big screen tv’s. The balcony has a patio table and two chairs with cushions. There’s also a hanging egg chair. A common gathering room and roof top patio with a cute pool is available to you. If you are looking to workout there’s a common gym that’s free for you to use as well. One underground parking spot is included.
You’ll have full use of the whole apartment completely to yourselves. There is also common areas on the 2nd floor which include a gym, lounge, library, kitchen, rooftop pool and patio with tables, chairs, loungers and a bbq.
We are available typically via Airbnb messaging but if you prefer a phone conversation or meeting in person we are happy to do that as well.
Safety/Security: For compliance with management standards, the property uses an exterior doorbell camera and a privacy-safe indoor noise monitor. These devices help prevent unauthorized activity and do not record conversations.
The `6th & Tenth` building is situated centered in the Beltline just on the south edge of the downtown core
The hip Beltline area is bounded by 17th Avenue SW, with cool boutiques selling fashion, retro furniture, vinyl and quirky gifts. Dining spans trendy taco joints, locavore eateries and Korean restaurants, while nightlife encompasses craft beer pubs, live music venues and dance clubs. There are landscaped gardens at Central Memorial Park and a giant indoor escape at Devonian Gardens in the Core Mall.
Right next to Beltline is Victoria Park which is an up-and-coming area, with converted warehouses on 1st Street SW, now home to cool clothes designers and offbeat home decor shops. Eateries include casual cafes, laid-back global spots and Jewish delis, while bars and small music venues get lively after dark. The Saddledome arena hosts concerts and Calgary Flames hockey games, and the annual Calgary Stampede rodeo takes place at Stampede Park.
City transit (C-Train and bus) are available and stops are conveniently located nearby. Taxis, Ubers, bike and scooter rentals are also options. You`ll find that you`ll be able to walk to many of the local amenities. There are so many convenient restaurants, pubs, stores and things to do in close proximity.
We have one reserved parkade spot included in your stay. Please specify during your booking if you’ll need the parking.
Be aware that this place is small. It’s only 450sq ft. It’s not ideal for having visitors but, if you would like to, just let us know first.
If you like trains you`ll enjoy the view from the deck as they go by once in a while. If trains aren`t your thing, ear plugs are provided under the bathroom sink. Note: this place is in the heart of downtown so you`ll hear some typical city noises like emergency vehicles and such. The building is framed in concrete so it is fairly soundproof. * Absolutely NO parties. Your booking will be immediately canceled without refund.
* The person booking must be 25+ years old. Additional guests can be any age.
* No undisclosed guests or visitors allowed. ID must be provide by all guests unless they are a minor.
* Early check-in and late check out requests will be considered. The following charges apply: First hr=free, 1+hrs=$20, 2+hrs=$40, 3+hrs=additional night fee.
* No throwing anything whatsoever over the balcony.
* Be very respectful of neighbours. It is a residential building with owners and long term renters living next door. Quiet hours are between 10pm-7am.
* Notify hosts immediately of any damage; most importantly for timely replacement.
* Although we don’t require you to clean the condo, we do kindly ask that you leave it in a reasonably tidy state.
* Please, no eating in the bedroom. The bedding is all white. Please be considerate with hair dye and makeup too.

This condo was just as described and made for a comfortable and convenient home base during a visit to Calgary for work. The hosts were super responsive; I’d gladly book again!
This was a great place to stay. Close to the downtown core, shops and restaurants. This apartment has all the amenities needed for a great stay including underground parking.
Conveniently located in Downtown Calgary, very affordable, can walk to anywhere. Snacks and coffee provided as well. Any kitchen needs are well covered and a washer and dryer to boot, place was great.The parking garage was a major plus being that we drove from Minnesota. Nothing but great things to say about The Nest!
My stay at Richard and Teresa's place was great! Their suite is super clean, very well furnished and wonderfully cozy. Perfect for a solo occupant or a couple. The views of the city from their balcony is the icing on the cake, and so I would definitely feel confident in recommending this home to anybody.
I had a wonderful time in this micro nest that is not micro at all. Large enough for a couple, or 3 people. Very nicely set up, everything one needs has been provided. Great view from the balcony, close to a variety of eateries and within walking distance to downtown.

Beautiful little apartment. Perfect space for one or two people. Conveniently located for access to downtown and not far from the river park. Grocery store within blocks too. Owner was very responsive to all inquiries. Highly recommend.
The condo was appointed perfectly, had everything we needed labeled and easy to find. The "in case you forgot" box had all the easy to forget essentials. The space was very comfortable and inviting. The bed was best ive ever had away from home with a selection of soft and firm pillows. Being on the north side of the building not blasted be afternoon sun meant it was always a comfortable temp (in summer anyway) could lay in bed with a breeze from the patio and just listen to the city go by below you.
