"Great beach, restaurants, very secure. Staff seemed unsure about some things, however, especially at the reception desk; it takes a while to make yourself understood - you would expect a tourist place like this would have better trained staff. Language was a barrier, but we had some Spanish to help us get by. Building looks like it’s going to need renovations soon. "

"This was our third or fourth time in Cabarete and our second time staying at the Presidential suites. The first time we stayed ( about 3 weeks ago) it was for only 1 night but this time we decided to stay for 5 nights. Minus a few of our children getting sick (no fault of the resort) we really enjoyed our time. The rooms were large enough to accommodate my family and I and everything was pretty much within walking distance. Restaurants, shopping, beach access, etc etc… The resort also has...
