「Great place to stop in the country 」

「Just needed somewhere quiet to stay for myself and my partner who needed rest and recuperation, also had builders in our house, so this being a very reasonable price and not too far to travel seemed ideal....and it was. All clean, peaceful and nice. Read some reviews prior to booking and now I've been there I just think that some people leave bad reviews or complain for the sake of it or because they think they'll get something from it. It is what it advertises, it's nice, comfortable and clean....

「Really enjoyable stay. Hotel and rooms have been modernised and look great, aside from a few creaky floorboards! Very quiet when we stayed (missed the nightclub by one day fortunately). Perfect location for the town, castle, river, etc. Knocked off a mark for service as there's not a lot of staff around, but you can call for help if needed (but we didn't need to as it happened).」

「The location was fabulous and our room had an amazing view over the beach. We had dinner in the bar area and had a window seat overlooking the sea. The food was wonderful and the staff worked really hard to provide excellent service. Harriet was chatty, friendly and really concscientious and is a real credit to the team. 「We stayed at Pontyclerc farm house while visiting friends in the area. The farm house was charming. Room was comfortable and very clean, lovely biscuits with a lovely sellection of teas coffee, and hot chocolate. Ensuite was of a very good size, with good toiletries supplied. Service for breakfast was friendly and professional, breakfast itself was delicious.
