I'm so sad that we were only in town for one night. My sister and I did a road trip around Scotland, and this was our last night. It was the BEST hotel we stayed in. The staff was amazing and nice. The hotel was quirky and upscale. The breakfast was delicious (the best we had eaten the whole time we were in Scotland).

We arrived early and I asked the front desk person if they could hold our luggage. To our shock, she checked us in early and we were able to go to our room. The hotel is convenient to the train station, shopping, and there is a theatre across the street. We opted to eat in the hotel restaurant and the food, drink, and service was all exceptional. Most helpful and friendly staff. Clean, comfortable room. My waiters were excellent. I did not have breakfast so I cannot comment on that.

Of all the places we stayed during our 10 days in Scotland the Sherbrooke was the absolute best. (And we stayed in a few rather nice places, including the Scotsman in Edinburgh) Every member of the staff was beyond polite, friendly and accommodating. They could not do enough to help us feel both welcome and comfortable. In addition, the evening was gorgeous and our photos of the grounds and sunset were exquisite. What a way to end a trip at such a marvelous establishment.

Basically all was excellent but toilet was not cleaned one day. Very nice room but public areas need facelift. Location 6 stars.

Convenient to most of the area we went to. Excellent breakfast buffet. Spacious room and bath. Meets all American standards of a 4 star hotel. Pretty good for a chain hotel.

We loved our stay here! Great location in the West End next to the "Hop-on-Hop-off" tour bus line. Excellent restaurant. Very comfortable beds, larger than average rooms, excellent shower. I read some nit-picky reviews about this hotel on Expedia and I think those reviewers must not be frequent International travelers because this place was wonderful. We arrived after a long transatlantic flight and requested an early check-in. No hotel will guarantee this but the Hilton staff worked hard to accomodate us. It was wonderful and much appreciated. It is an easy walk into central Glasgow. Staff were universally pleasant and helpful. Food in the relaxed bar and restaurant areas was excellent and we especially enjoyed the daily buffet breakfast. The Hilton is now our go to hotel in Glasgow.

The hotel is new, fresh! I loved it. My room was small but I was rarely in the room. The bed was comfortable. I did not have breakfast and did not visit the lounge. The location was perfect. I was steps away from The Royal Conservatory of Scotland, and the bus station was two blocks down. There is an airport bus which leaves every 15 minutes. Staff was friendly and so helpful!
