I great alternative

This is super value for money. Very central location, great staff and the breakfast was very good for Buenos Aires, we had booked the sister hotel but was moved to this hotel instead by the company, it was a great alternative.

First off, the property was in a terrific location! Being able to walk to significant sites and good resturants was a perk. Also, the staff was friendly and helpful. Room on the 9th floor was so quiet and well appointed. Completely delighted with the days spent at this hotel!

I have the best impressions of my stay. The location of the hotel is excellent, close to the central squere. The staff is very polite and ready to serve every time of day and night. They helped me in everything I asked: provdeing hot water, arranging extencin of my stay, calling taxy etc. Morning seivice is also good, the food is freash and tasty.

This hotel is located very close to Plaza de Mayo, 2 blocks away if you make a right, and the Obelisk, 5 blocks to the left. It is very close to the metro station. Calle Florida is 2 blocks away, also Cafe Tortoni if you are willing to stand on that long line to get a table. There are many places to eat around it. The area feels safe. They also exchange money and the rate is very good. The rooms are small, the breakfast is simple but the staff is very helpful, they are great and very friendly. I will definitely return and recommend this hotel.

Great price and location, a block away from Casa Rosada and the cathedral among other attractions. Situated right next to the metro. Lots of dining options around. It’s an old building with some updated features. The elevator is tiny and a little Claustrophobic. Breakfast is included but is VERY basic and has very few options, no hot food is provided and is exactly the same everyday. If you are staying more than a couple days, this is an issue. Staff is friendly and helpful. I have stayed here on business and it’s fine for a short stay. All in all good value for an economy hotel.

The location is superb. Never felt unsafe in this area, nor anywhere in Buenes Aires, actually. The rooms are fine; however, the rooms on the 9th floor near the service elevator and the AC blowers are LOUD! After three nights they gave me another room. So, if they give you a 9th floor room, kindly ask for a different room. The staff was fantastic. And as far as breakfast, I thought it was fine. I was a first-timer to Buenes Aires. I would stay here again, just not on the 9th floor!

The air conditioning in my room never worked and it was hot and humid. The man at the front desk was very nice, but didn't realisticly address the problem. The heat was a deal breaker for me. At breakfast the coffee was very good. The buffet was mainly pastries, no eggs, etc. Not to my liking. Location is very convenient to things.

Except AERO-GARBAGE-MEXICO lines they changed my flight over than 5 times with lay over more than 24 hours, the hotel was not bad. Little bit noisy because of main air conditioning compressor, i asked to change the room and they accepted after i selected and paid for this option. Overall not bad.

Cancelled without warning

when I arrived, the hotel was locked and I was told I was rebooked at a "sister" hotel for the same price (lie). I thought she told me she was paying for a hotel to get us there (she didn't speak English, and my Spanish is only so-so); only to find out our cabbie requesting money at the end (no cc, and I had no pesos). The whole event was exhausting and a bit scary (as we had no idea where the cabbie was taking us).
