It is a set in a very small village close to the coast, and there is also a lovely cafe within 5 mins walk. It is well placed to visit all the attractions in the area. "We stayed only one night but found our little cabin to be quaint and quite comfortable. We found all that we needed although the bathroom was small and we would have appreciated more lighting in there. We loved the location and surrounding area of the mountains and a view of the water. We also got to see the Northern Lights. One of our favorite stays while in Iceland. "

Great location just outside of Grundarfjordur...very quiet and peaceful with great views looking out to ocean, mountains/Kirkjufell, and beautiful sunsets! Cottage as everything you need even small stove plate on the kitchenette you feel like cooking. Hosts also great and reply in timely manner to emails."
