A wonderfully cozy room with a phenomenal, unforgettable view! The room was small but completely functional, and the bed was super comfortable. The staff here were all very kind and helpful, and the fish stew we ordered for lunch was lovely. Would absolutely come back, and would recommend!

Dinner at the hotel was one of the best meals we had during our trip. Breakfast was pretty sad as it was mostly bread, cold cuts and old boiled eggs. The staff was super helpful and the room was very comfortable

Wonderful location by the water and in a golf course. The buffets for breakfast and dinner were amazing. Lots of books and games to play. The golf course was fun and so scenic.

We enjoyed the location and were grateful to be in one of the newer rooms with a balcony. Not a lot of space in the room for placements of bags but we made it work. In reading about the guesthouse when booking, it appeared there was a restaurant for ordering dinner; however, that is not the situation. The food was ok but not what we expected and quite expensive. The breakfast buffet was good and offered many options.

Very comfortable hotel in a great location. Liked the lounge areas for reading. Restaurant had a nightly buffet that was excellent. Rooms were clean and comfortable. Onsite parking. They have a path out to the coast and saw a lot of photographers and bird watchers enjoying the property around the hotel.

Stayed for two nights while hiking in the area, and had a great stay, It was very convenient to the National Park. The rooms are basic (no television etc), but clean, and the bed was comfortable. The restaurant was good and breakfast was included, which was great. Hard dinner one night, it is all buffet style and was fine. Would stay here again if in the area.

This place was fantastic. This was the best breakfast that was included of any of the hotels in our 10 days in Iceland. The staff was so accommodating and flexible. I made a mistake and booked the room as a solo room despite traveling with my wife and they easily and happily resolved the issue. There is some really interesting and fun artwork hanging around the main area. The room was perfect. We had an excellent stay!

The highlights were certainly the breakfast and the buffet dinner the night before at around $70 per person, which is cheap by Icelandic standards. The room was clean and relatively large(again, by local standards). The hotel itself is nondescript from outside and looks a bit strange from inside, but the surroundings are beautiful, with the sea nearby and lush green all around, and the main attractions of the Snæfells peninsula all within 30 minutes in a car.

Loved the room here. We had a sun facing room, it was very warm when we got there. As the sun set behind the mountains it was pleasant. The room was very clean, very comfortable bed and linens. Great pressure in the shower. Breakfast was delicious and nice variety. Staff friendly and welcoming. We would absolutely stay here again!

The staff were friendly and accommodating. We had a cooler with us for our food. We thought we would have a fridge in the room but there was no fridge, coffee pot or kettle. Fortunately, the staff allowed us to freeze some water bottles to keep our food cold in the cooler. The room was okay. The toilet paper holder fell off the wall and there was no shower curtain. We didn’t eat the dinner there because it was expensive and a buffet of seafood that we do not eat. Breakfast was included. Also buffet but mostly lunchmeat, fruit&veggies, hard boiled eggs, cereal or oatmeal. Coffee and hot water was available 24/7. The views were the best thing about the place.

Das Hotel ist extrem in die Jahre gekommen und benötigt ein Renovierung, wie auch die Zimmer und Dusche. Das Preis/Leistung Verhältnis ist schlecht. Personal ist okay und das Frühstück authentisch.
