The staff were helpful. The hotel is a little dated and quite far from central Budapest. I would only stay here if you have a tour or on a budget. The AC wasn’t working the best.

Simple, but reasonably priced rooms. The staff was always friendly and helpful. The room was quiet with a balcony to the back garden. The area around the hotel is busy with traffic, and lots of ambulances were passing with sirens going. However, you don't hear anything when you close your balcony door. I used the hotel before and would use it again.

Good hotel for 2-3 nights

Good hotel in the southeast of budapest not far from the M5 highway. Rooms are good with balcony. Breakfast ok but could be better. If you don't come early then you can see a lot of trays are empty of food.

The staff were friendly and helpful when our AC did not work. The room was clean but had dark decor and the lights generated A LOT of heat which made the room temperature very uncomfortable. The amenities were limited, no tissues or wash cloths were provided. But the lobby was a nice place to visit with friends late at night, parking was always easy, and the bar was decent. A clean and inexpensive option for those who want to stay outside the busy city center and relatively close to the airport.

Hotel has a good location, next to public transport, shopping mall, easy to reach the airport. Room has enough space for two person, also has a balcony. Since our last visit they renewed the bathroom, looks nice. Breakfast could be better, but for the price range it's okay. Hotel has bar too, didn't try this time. Unfortunately our house keeper didn't clean our room, didn't make our bed, didn't take the used towels / clean our bathroom, just dropped new towels on the bed. It was disappointing.

The room with a bloody pillow

I always book Ibis on summar holidays because the hotels have good standards and acceptable price. This time was the personal at the receptiondesk not so friendly at checking in and neither afterwards, we were out the whole evening and came back to the hotel around 1 or 2 am exhausted and after showering and brushing our teeths went directly to bed, the bed was so tight and cosy. At the next morning before going down for breakfast we noticed that one pillow and the sheets had blood, we look at our selves and checked up our faces, foreheads and head but not any sign of injured. My husband contacted the staff about this but they said that it was our duty to control the whole room before using the installations and commodities, at the end another person from the staff offered a drink to my husband like a compensation which i consider was a good way to show how sorry they were, my husband doesnt even drink.
