What a pleasant location and experience. Darien Ga is a cute small, pretty town. The hotel was right on the river and if you book a balcony room you have a beautiful view, The staff was very helpful, the room was very clean and and roomy. Also my wife left her watch in the room after we checked out and on our way to NY. The housekeepers were honest enough to turn it in to the front desk which we greatly appreciated.

Very nice hotel in small Coastal Georgia shrimping town. My only complaint was the tv size 32” was too small for the size room and distance from bed other than that it an awesome hotel on Darien River.

The gentleman who check us in was very helpful and nice. The hotel itself was clean and quiet, although we did check in at night but it had been raining all weekend. The shower in our room was decorated nicely and the room was comfortable.

Nice, quiet getaway if you are looking to lay low. Not a lot to do in this very small town, but chilling was our goal. Food at hotek restaurant was really good, but cocktails need some work. For coffee, a cute little coffee shop is across the street with wonderful garden features and outdoor seating. Very friendly owner showed us around and gave us the history of his place.

Pool was 24/7 awesome. Had to ask for the promotion items before I received them . Stay 2 nights in row get freebies Slightly annoying . Labor Day weekend restaurant decided to close early lol . No steaks - maybe 1 Appetizer and maybe 1 dessert they had . (There usually slow on mondays was there excuse..) My wife highly allergic to any seafood.. don’t eat here if you have any allergies to seafood/shellfish . Grilled chicken on our salads reeked from fish had to send hers back Drinks were good Beds comfy 3/5 stars An actual waitress instead of a hotel guest service person would have probably comped the meal but what ever

Overall, this was a wonderful area and very quiet for our 4th of July getaway. Our room was very lovely (the bed was super comfy) and the staff very friendly. Our shower was a bit of a mess at the build kept causing water to pool out due to it's lack of ability to drain correctly. Our balcony view was enjoyable and allowed us to keep watching the fireworks that were happening all the way down on St. Simons and Jekyll Island. Good sized gym and pool area and there were a handful of local eateries that were walkable from our hotel as well.
