"We needed a place to stay for the practice rounds of the Open at St. Andrews and this idyllic town on the River Tay was perfect. The pictures are quite accurate, but remember, if you’re visiting in summer, that this house and nearly all of Scotland has no air conditioning. We bought two tower fans and left them for others who might need in order to sleep at night. The kitchen was complete, the lining room large, the TV worked well and the beds comfortable. "Check-in was quick and easy and the room was clean. Good water pressure in the shower. It's a bit of a maze and there's several buildings so they showed me mine. Breakfast was good, but the first day the buffet coffee was very watered down and weak. Air-conditioning didn't go below 20 on the cool setting, but it was fine for me. You have to request crockery from reception as there is nonebin the kitchen from the start. Be aware that because the site does have some upgrade work happening some of the footpaths aren't as shown on Google maps, this meant I was walking around a bit lost on property. I did ask for confirmation for two different stops on two occasions from different employers and was assured the stops were in the direction indicated only to find they weren't. The buses were a mix of convenient and not, unsure if there's less services because it wasn't term time or not."
