Our room was fabulous. And the bed was really comfortable with perfect pillows.
We were impressed with the speed of the lifts, we were on the eighth floor.
Breakfast was superb, great variety and large seating area.
Highly recommend this hotel

The checking in receptionist was exceptionally helpful. Went out of his way to make our stay comfortable and enjoyable. The recently refurbished room was wonderful, absolutely clean and it was as if I was sleeping in my own bed.
We also had the dinner in the restaurant which was great, good value for money, more importantly all freshly prepared and not from frozen.
Overall experience exceptional, would have given it 5* had on one occasion the elevator not been working.

There is no onsite parking which is a bit of a drawback, but not unexpected in a city centre hotel. The room was spacious but cold, increased by the bare floors I think. There was a mix up with breakfast, so I can’t comment on restaurant or food. The communal area downstairs did not feel welcoming. ...
