"Room was great and we were able to park outside the door which was appreciated. Our evening main meal in the pub was very good as was the breakfast in the morning. Would recommend to anyone wanting a bub bed and breakfast. "

"We stayed the second time at the Retreat, so we knew the facilities. We enjoyed the Xmad holidays with our family living in London here much. Great facilities nearby like farm shops, and a city with lots of facilities nearby."

"We had a great stay at The Evenhill. All the staff were very friendly. Our room was clean, warm and spacious. The shower was great and the towels were nice and large. We didn’t get full WiFi signal in the room, but it wasn’t a problem. We had dinner in the pub and everyone’s meal was excellent. Breakfast the next morning was excellent as well; with plenty to fill us up!"

"Beautiful location, walks from the door and a fab pub on the doorstep. Hosts were non intrusive but available and welcoming. Everything was just perfect. Reasonably secure garden so perfect for my older dog, my youngster I kept on a flexi to be safe. "

"Lovely surroundings out in the countryside unfortunately the WiFi runs from the main house so the signal is very poor.The games room is misleading as in the view the property on cottages.com it show's that it is yours to use but it is opposite the property and is shared with other guests.Overall though a very Serene place with local activities and Folkstone a little drive"
