We had the odd luxury of staying in every room due to an unexpected extension in Potenza and the warmth and kindness of the owners and the community surrounding them during our stay here exceeded any expectation. "This hotel was booked mainly on price but after booking in, we decided to stay for the week. Potenza is a lovely little town with all kinds of bars and restaurants where you will meet interesting, friendly people. I would post photos but they say they are too big. Get with the program hotes.com The hotel is close to everything you need without having to walk for more than a few minutes and has few tourists. Great museum, which Vittorio allowed us to visit while it was supposedly closed, great pizza bars and the most amazing tiny local restaurant, Da Vincento, look it up, I am not going to give away all my secrets. Anyway, if you want to escape the heat, head for this delightful mountain town. Highly recommended."

This place looked beautiful from the outside and a beautiful interior presentation. To sadly find out that the hotel customer service did not match its beauty. Front desk reception was difficult and challenging with very unhappy faces. Breakfast staff was unfriendly and could not get a welcome smile from them. Dinner staff was just as unfriendly. I might say to be fair the housekeepers were very nice and helpful.probably to fair the staff is overworked at the same time if they want to be in the hospitality business they want to trained the staff to be friendly.
