「We had a lovely stay at Caloura Hotel Resort.
The location is quiet, remote, and beautiful—perched on the cliffs with peaceful sea views and lush gardens. It was especially nice to be able to walk down to the ocean through the grounds.
The hotel feels very calm and relaxing, but you definitely need a car to get around.

「We loved how easy the check in was! We arrived late however we received very detailed instructions on the check in process which made it simple despite a late arrival. The staff were kind and helpful even opening breakfast early to accommodate those of use leaving early for flights. Would recommend to anyone needing an over lay accommodation or simply something just outside ponta delgada.」

Those who book this hotel should be aware that while it is in a residential area, there are touches of the 'country' in the neighborhood. 「I stayed here for one night with my family after our flight was cancelled leaving out of Ponta Delgada. It was a last minute choice and this property was beautiful. I believe it’s new , everything was spotless, food at the restaurant was delicious, would definitely stay again. 」
