"It was a lovely property but I was disappointed on arrival that the Caretaker did not speak a word of English! even though it did mention in your details that they spoke both French and English. They were lovely people but we found it very hard to understand things even though we used google to help us. There were details on the notice board in French. of course. which we managed to translate eventually but it was not easy! Perhaps it could be recommended that with future English speaking...

"Absolutely Wonderful Stay – Highly Recommended! I recently had the pleasure of staying at La Mère Poulard hotel, and everything about the experience exceeded my expectations. From the moment we arrived, the staff were warm, welcoming, and professional. The check-in process was smooth, and we were given all the information we needed to enjoy our stay. The room was spotless and incredibly comfortable. The bed was cozy, the linens were fresh, and the amenities were thoughtful – everything from the toiletries to the in-room coffee and tea was high quality. What stood out most was the attention to detail and the genuine hospitality. The location was perfect AND THE VIEW from our room was spectacular – close to everything we wanted to see but also peaceful enough for a restful night’s sleep. Breakfast was another highlight: fresh, varied, and delicious, with something for every taste. We left feeling relaxed, cared for, and already looking forward to our next visit. I highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a memorable and comfortable stay! "
