"Lovely cosy country pub, friendly staff, perfect to chill outside and watch the world go by on a warm sunny day. The roads leading to the pub are very narrow but there are plenty of passing places. The beach is not far and is not too crowded and has a lovely beach cafe/bar. We stayed for 3nts and intended to visit different places for dinner in the evening but didn't see anywhere nearby that tempted us away from this lovely pub. Would definitely stay here again if in the area."
"Excellent location with generous double room facing the sea. Staff worked on our behalf with enthusiasm, efficiency and good humour always. We enjoyed perfectly prepared meals in a relaxing setting with characterful references reminiscent of Beer’s fishing heritage. The building was tired, externally and internally."
A wonderful holiday cottage close to the beach and town centre of Beer.

"Great location and really lovely laid out cottage. All bedrooms were a good size and kitchen well equipped. The garden is perfect for dogs but it is not directly opposite the cottage - so you need to accompany your dog. Take a torch for the path at night. Would book again."
"A wonderful stay at the Meadows. The property was perfectly sized for 6 adults and 2 small dogs. The kitchen we found to be very well equipped and easy to use. The location of the property was in walking distance of all of Beer and great walks around. Would definitely stay again! "
"Great place, highly recommend and the owners have great communication. It was the little touches little the welcome basket, milk, tea, coffee and a home from home. The house has everything you will need and the owners provide a lot foc which was a lovely surprise. The only thing which would improve it would be a grass area for the dogs and the bushes where you park cut back as this kept setting the car sensors off causing it to break.Overall I couldn’t fault the place or the owners and would go back again."
