Effective plug in fan (no air conditioning). Downsides - poor shower (useless showerhead and water over floor). Noisy, could hear traffic even with window closed overnight. The room was a little cramped with 4 and unfortunately very hot, but beds were very comforable and plenty of bedding and fresh towels provided, as well as helpful simple little extras such as shower gel and tissues. I like that a poster politely asks that people save energy (helping to reduce their bills and therefore cost for customers) by switching off lights etc. when leaving the room. "Room has been upgraded with a new mattress, and wallpaper that looked like it had been installed by an amateur! A complete mess! Toilet seat was hanging off the bowl, you couldn’t sit on it without it hurling you sideways! Soap? Well that was dispensed in 2 tiny packets Shower - held 7’ in the air just the head no slider.. 18” above the shower screen? Bathroom was freezing due to a duct in the ceiling that let cold air in - and removed any warm air that we circulated in there via a sliding...

"This hotel has been an Auberge since the middle ages and we enjoyed it as a welcome rest after a long flight. The beds were very confortable and the area was quiet. Showers were modern with lots of hot water. We strongly recommend opting in for the breakfast on the terrace which was excellent."
