「The setting is spectacular—only a few feet to the creek from the deck! The cabin is cozy and comfortable with high-end bedding and kitchen supplies. We were welcomed with a bottle of wine and chocolates. It doesn’t get much better than this if you’re looking for a mountain retreat AND we were able to bring our fur baby too!」

「Wonderful cabin in the woods experience! Creek nearby at bottom of the hill, had a nice time on the decks with the gas fed fire pit and grill, and grassy knoll area and hammock were great for the kiddo. The smore sticks and AC unit were nice touches too. 」

「The upstairs bedrooms were too hot, and the window to one of the bedrooms was sealed and would not open. Unfortunately, these bedrooms are going to be super-hot in the summertime with no air conditioning circulating upstairs. The weeds in the yard were four feet high, and the place needed some landscaping care. Dirt roads for the last two miles, and your car will be covered in fine dust. Not a good experience with this place. 」

「Our stay here was very nice. The area was very quaint. Obviously the scenery is spectacular. The house was very charming, as well, with plenty of space to move around. There was lots to explore in the immeadiate area and the Owl Chalet was a relatively short drive to the surrounding Denver area. I would love to go back to Owl Chalet some day.」
