The lake view was beautiful. We had a loft room for our family of 5 and it worked out fine for us. Easy to find, easy to park. Good breakfast in the morning. Friendly family that runs it.

This family owned hotel is an absolute gem. The rooms are modern and clean. It’s an amazing location overlooking a valley and 10 minutes from Hussafell. The family is very friendly and the meals were great. We also saw the Northern Lights so clearly from here away from the light pollution of Reykjavík. Highly recommend!

We had a lovely stay at Hotel A. Our host was warm and welcoming; he gave us a lot of information about sights to see in the area. Breakfast was also wonderful, a good variety of foods to choose from. Unfortunately, since we were visiting during the low season, the restaurant was not offering dinner. We had to find a takeaway meal to adapt to this situation.

Unbelievable!
The hotel room was warm, welcoming and CLEAN!!! The staff were so accommodating. The restaurant was delicious and well worth the price paid. The views were so beautiful! Highly recommended.
