First room we were assigned had not been cleaned. Front desk said they cleaning staff was understaffed. Hallway carpets were in tatters plus piles of dirty laundry lined hallways (on that tattered carpet) *throughout* the building. Exterior sliding glass door in our room did not lock.

Unfortunately, there was a mild odor in my room... thinking diaper smell. I asked for some deodorizer and no one was able to help me. I suppose I could have asked to change rooms so thats on me. Hotel 43
The bed and the pillows were really soft and cozy. So many hotels have hard beds these days. This hotel reminds me of what hotel beds used to be. They also had nice cozy robes too. Overall would recommend. The staff was nice especially the valet and the night staff.
