「We booked a one night stop over in our route home . The Room was clean and comfy . With large tv and very comfortable bed . Large walk-in shower in newly refurbished bathroom . Excellent cooked breakfast too . Would definitely stay here again . 」

「Stayed in Badger Lodge, Very nice and all necessities provided (please note Wifi not the best - only minor point) Also had dinner at hotel restaurant which was lovely and homely with all the peacocks roaming around outside. Recommended !」

「We booked a family suite which is lovely - very modern and tastefully decorated. A lovely tea/coffee area and bottles of water weee supplied. Both bedrooms have patio doors opening out onto outside area. The views are amazing and it is just so peaceful and quiet. Breakfast was amazing - THE BEST bacon!! Would highly recommend this place - ideal for walkers. 」

「I received a free upgrade to one of the Lodges so don't actually know about Davy Cottage. However, the lodge called Owls Nest was lovely. Spacious, well equipped, clean and really comfortable. The view was great. Parking was directly outside. The road is rather pot-holed (not unlike the rest of the country!) and I didn't like the black towels which left lint all over me, but that is really me being finicky! We ate in the restaurant one evening which was very good. The peacocks were amusing,...
