"Ideally located just outside the M25, which we couldn't hear despite it's closeness, in Leatherhead. The flat backs onto a school whose buildings provide a beautiful view from the lounge of an evening. The town centre is a short walk away with a good selection of shops and eateries. Leatherhead proved to be a good base for us to get out and about to visit local attractions such as Darwin's house, Ightham Mote and The Wey navigation at Dapdune Wharf in Guildford (for a boat trip on the river)"

"Our room was cosy & clean in the Garden house. We loved the buggies that took us all around the different parts of the estate. The staff were so friendly & helpful. Our Sunday dinner was delicious. Breakfast was excellent too. The SPA tailored massage treatment given by Sylvia was so amazing. The indoor swimming pool was lovely. The saunas & jacuzzi was so relaxing. We had an amazing Birthday celebration at Beaverbrook. I highly recommend this hotel. "

"We stayed at Thatcher’s Hotel (part of Surya Hotels) for three nights during half term. Overall, it’s an average hotel but offers good value for money. The rooms have been renovated and are modern and comfortable, and the beds were very comfortable which we appreciated. However, there were a few downsides. The room was extremely hot during the night, which made it difficult to sleep comfortably. Breakfast was average — nothing special — and dinner in the evening was also average but quite expensive for what it was. The location is on a main road near a petrol station, so it’s not the most scenic setting. You do need to drive to find somewhere nice for a proper walk. It’s also worth noting that during our stay we were the only guests with children, so it felt more like an adult-focused hotel rather than a family-oriented one. In summary, it’s fine for a short stay and reasonably priced, but don’t expect anything exceptional."
