「We enjoyed great view from silent lakeside room. All staff were kind and service in bistro was also comfortable.」

「Loved the whole place the husband and wife do a great job! The brekki was simple but great and was good to sit and eat with fellow guests and discuss our days plus the communal lounge and kitchen was so comfortable and quaint. 」

「The property is extremely dated and in need of renovations and some much needed TLC. Basic renovations are required like painting, walls patched and a new make over. We only had 2 minutes of hot water. Rooms are probably 70 years old and not renovated in this time. Curtains old, dirty, and tired. Room not welcoming. I guess it would be perfect for people going to snow fields during the day and coming back late at night. The price of the room was good」

Being able to rent simple, reliable snow gear directly from Carinya at a very decent rate took a lot of hassle out of our trip. Room was clean and quiet and we loved the bonfire, but the unexpected gem was the restaurant where the friendly, easygoing staff fed us delicious, traditional Indian food at about half the price of what we'd pay in Canberra or Sydney. Thanks team, we'll be back!」
