Looking West from Bears Den, route 7 winds its way toward Winchester, VA. This was from a recent #Adventure section hiking the Appalachian Trail.
This is a new brewery in Bluemont VA but man do they have the million dollar view! This photo was taken from their patio area which overlooks Bluemont Vineyards (you can see the grape vines in the photo). Great Virginia vineyard and winery! Bluemont has some very good wines both reds and whites. Maybe the most beautiful views from any east coast vineyard with a nearly 360 degree picturesque view of the surrounding mountains and valleys. A great place to spend the day enjoying wine, food, and the often live music. As if not enough right next store is the new Dirt Farm Brewery and across the street is a local family oriented farm market. Near Middleburg and Purceville Virginia.

The host was super warm and welcoming and went out of the way to make the house feel Christmas-y for the kids. The house itself was great for two families (plus grandparents)--well laid out with enough space for all, well appointed and very cozy.

The cabin was cozy and warm and comfortably furnished, fireplace was nice. Everything in the house worked and it was very clean. The coffee provided was delicious! The basement could use some updating but we didn't use it much.
