Privacy Note: From Mid-October to early May, Jane and I reside in the upper portion of the cabin with our three little dogs. The lower portion of the cabin, is the vacation rental and is completely separate from the upper level where Jane and I live. During that time we are available on-site for any assistance or inquiries you may have, dining , hiking, fishing spots, etc. For the rest of the year, we are in Montana. Remember, plans can change, especially if fire season gets smoky, we may return sooner than planned. But rest assured, your comfort and privacy are our top priorities. Book your escape today and enjoy your stay in this beautiful log cabin!

Please Note: The rental unit does not have a conventional oven, but it does have a convection micro wave, griddle and BBQ grill with a side burner. But don't worry the Iron Bride Cafe and Toccoa River Restaurant are just minutes away.. After all you are on vacation.

Great getaway spot.
Me and a couple of friends were in Blue Ridge to do some trout fishing and needed a place to sleep. This was a great spot. Clean and affordable. Shirt walk to the Tacoa headwaters. About a 15 minute drive to the tailwaters. Downtown Blue Ridge is about a 15 minute drive. There are a couple local restaurants within walking distance

The one picture that I saw when I booked this reservation. Show the cabin on the river. I was a little disappointed that it wasn't. It was across the street And the grill that didn't work. He said we can use the other grill but it was in bad shape other than that, it was a nice vacation.

Nice cozy cabin,very secluded and peaceful! The area was wonderful, river at the bottom of the road. Lots of whitewater nearby! Blue Ridge has a nice downtown which is very walkable. We really enjoyed our stay!

Peaceful Oasis
The property was very clean. A/C worked wonderful. There were even extra fans! Plenty of towels and wash clothes. Extra towels were there for the hot tub. Propane for the grill. The house was very organized and we had everything we needed. When I had to contact the owner he answered right away. This property was clean, cozy, comfortable. Plenty of space for sleeping. I would definitely stay again. Thanks for sharing your house with us!!!!

Wife and I spent a few days nestled in the mountains of Blue Ridge for a much-needed getaway. The place was nice and had almost all amenities we needed (a stovetop would've been nice but heck what we had was good). Would stay again!

Toccoa Rocky River Retreat!
Really nice cabin, two good sized bedrooms, and a nice sitting area, but as the weather was so good we stayed out on the porch. River access is nice, and you are really close to a cafe / shop and restaurant which were both excellent. We really enjoyed our stay.

The Rocky River Retreat in Blue Ridge Georgia
Two BR. and a Bath under the main cabin floor. The place was immaculate! The host were wonderful. The location couldn't be better. The bed was comfortable and thank God for the recliner. I have a bad back. There is River just about in the back yard. Breakfast and lunch are within walking distance in a mom and pop store that sells a variety of things. Beautiful Water Falls and a short drive to beautiful mountain views. Don't miss downtown Blue Ridge. Great shops, friendly people, a tourist train ride to a couple other towns and a variety of food establishments. If your planning to fish on your own, make sure you get a license. Georgia Cops Don't Play. The bottom line is: we had a great time and will return for a longer visit at the same place, THE ROCKY RIVER RETREAT.

Quick trip to Blue Ridge
This property is a great location for ease of access to everything in Aska and the surrounding areas. Plenty of hikes within 15-20 minute drive, the general store is literally a walk down the steps. Scott was phenomenal and very accommodating. If you are looking for a convenient place to rest while in Aska, this is a great option. It is off a main road so you hear a little of that occassionally, but it is minimal. The river is literally down the steps accross the street, so you get the enjoyment of that as well. Great option at the price!

Very cozy place to relax in for a weekend trip. The taccoa river is a 3 minute walk down the hill and we caught some rainbow trout in there. Thanks for the stay!

This is a nice clean place. Hot tub was a good addition. At the bottom of the stairs that lead to the road there is a great breakfast place inside a general store. They serve a great country breakfast for a good price.

The location you couldn’t beat, right next to the river and far enough outside of town but only a 15 min drive. The owner was very responsive to all questions, comments, or concerns. Would definitely stay again!!
