Rented this cabin for a girls’ weekend with 11 guests. There were a few things out of place upon arrival, but the host was friendly, responsive, and quick to address any concerns. The stay was comfortable overall, though not the most convenient with only two bathrooms for a larger group. The floors were quite creaky and the walls are thin, so noise traveled easily. The amenities were great and instructions were abundantly clear.

We had an amazing stay! The property was comfortable, clean, warm, and incredibly cozy—perfect for our family of 12. There was so much to do, truly something fun for everyone. Being right on top of the mountain made it extra special, with unforgettable views that we’ll never forget. We would absolutely stay here again.

Loved the deck views and firepit! The hot tub and sauna was amazing! Everything inside was great and beds were super comfortable!Only negative would be the lights on the deck outside was dim and the below deck as well. If they were operated by power instead of solar panels that would be much better but overall great place for families to enjoy the beautiful town of Blue Ridge with lots to do including white water rafting, fishing, tubing, hiking, shopping, etc

We had a fantastic family stay. The facilities were excellenrt and our family greatly enjoyed the sauna, hot tub, ice bath, and amazing balcony views. It was the perfect place to disconnect and unwind, with lots of information provided about the local area. We would highly recommend. Five stars.

Perfect Family Vacation

This property is exactly what our family needed. The location was perfect. The house was cozy & beautifully decorated. The house offered plenty of activities for the family (hot tub, pool table, movie theater and games). Our favorite thing was the wonderful mountain views from the porch! You will not be disappointed with this property!!!

Girls Trip Fun

The cabin is adorable. The owners really made use of the space. All the amenities were great. We loved the hot rub and fire table. We ate most meals on the deck since the table was so large that we could! The photo spot with the lights and green background is in the shed. The kitchen had everything we needed! 20 minutes away was tubing in McCaysville.

We had an amazing time! The house was in such a quiet, relaxing setting, convenient to all the activities we did, but also removed enough to feel like we were away from it all. My kids loved all the activities at the house and the views were gorgeous!

This Cabin Was Perfect—Every Thoughtful Detail Stood Out

This cabin was perfect—every thoughtful detail put into the space did not go unnoticed. Everything was so well thought out which our family of six & our pup truly appreciated. The attention to detail far exceeded that of any other cabin we’ve stayed in. It made our stay feel extra special and memorable. We didn’t want to leave! We also appreciated that the roads were well maintained, and the cabin’s driveway was easy to access ;)

A Little Bit of Everything!

This place has a lot to offer.LOCATION - Convenient to Blue Ridge, up on the top of a mountain in a nice, quiet vacation cabin type of development with plenty of privacy out on the huge porch.AMENITIES - It's got tons of space for all sorts of sleeping arrangements (though the upstairs loft is noticeably warmer than the rest of the house). The kitchen is pretty small but well stocked with plenty of cookware. All of the rooms were very nice with quality, comfortable furnishings. The fun stuff is what really sets this place apart - it's got so many things to do and the pictures of everything in the listing are accurate (the pool table isn't the best but fun enough to mess around).CLEANLINESS - No complaints at all. Everything was in place and tidy, and the entire house was very clean.NATURE - It's got a great mountain view from the back deck, with a gas firepit set up right where you'll want to hang out. Plenty of trees and just a nice overall mountainous feel.Overall I would definitely recommend this place, especially if you have a big group!

Amazing views!

We had such a great stay at this property and it was very pet friendly. Property was amazing and views were great- we cannot wait to come back! First floor is wood so it's a little noisy if there are light sleepers they should sleep in the master bedroom or downstairs. We used the cold plunge and hot tub daily! So nice after all the hikes we did. Highly recommend to stay here!

High Bar

The cabin was awesome for our three families of four (6 kids and 6 adults). The kids had so much entertainment and we loved the outdoor seating areas. It was a great location just outside of town. We have stayed in cabins all over the southeast and this was one of our all time favorites. The host is very prompt and professional. We would highly recommend Fox and Fir and we will definitely be booking again.

Best trip ever!!!

I’ve booked plenty of cabins and this one by far is the BEST ONE EVER!!! The pictures are beautiful but the place in person is wayyyyy better. I didn’t expect for it to be that huge either. I had a total of 13 people with me, so please trust her when she says SLEEPS UP TO 14 PEOPLE! The host was so responsive and easy to communicate with. I will definitely be booking with her again.
