Jan 5, 2020overall good experience, nice staff, decent food. Waitresses in casino weren't that friendly, we waited for over 30 minutes for her to come back to get our check. but overall it was a good hotel and room

Cool house at the right price
"Really interesting layout, well stocked kitchen, comfortable bedrooms, good heating system. There was some activity outside at night since this is a downtown location, but it was all within reason. Walkable to many destinations in Eureka and to the water. Would stay here again"

Oct 23, 2019Yeah, so don't go looking for the Lake. Because there isn't one. It got that name because it used to flood in that area centuries ago. Arcata is a 10 minute drive and theviews of the mountain are very pretty.
