What a lovely spot, great breakfast, rooms and decor so charming with antiques and character (but felt extremely clean and welcoming.) I can’t wait to come back. I liked staying closer to New Harbor than Old Harbor.

Room was clean and comfortable. The staff were very helpful and friendly. We also liked the location. We were able to walk from the ferry and to restaurants, beach and bike rentals. The only negative was the noise from traffic on the street made it impossible to sleep with the windows open and it was too stuffy with them closed. The portable AC was very loud and we preferred keeping the windows open. Otherwise we had a lovely stay.

This is a charming Inn near New Harbor. There is a basic breakfast and the rooms are not too small. I would give them 5 stars if the beds were upgraded -- my mattress was very soft and needed a refresh. But if you don't have a bad back and can get the numeric room key access to work (i had to get a card from them to get in my room) you can't beat the location or the people.

At $600 a night can't you buy new pillows- absolutely flat- very old- all of them. I was in room 8, they a floor standing Airconditoner with a hose fitted to the window. Two choices on or off/ on it's too loud to sleep- off it's too hot to sleep. Great location, well maintained, Staff was very nice, enjoyed breakfast and the view.

Payne Harbor View is a lovely place to stay. The innkeeper Carmen was so nice and friendly, breakfast was delicious. The room was very spacious, clean, beautiful antiques throughout the home. I really enjoyed my stay here.
