"I arrived on a Monday but was disappointed to learn the restaurant was shut. Had to drive back into Düren for food. Germany doesn't seem to like Mondays! Hotel is good, if not slightly tired, but very clean and I slept well. My Monday evening disappointment was short lived following a very welcoming and wonderful breakfast. Very nice staff."

The bed was ok apart from the awful pillows (which you will find in most German hotels sadly) which are big, floppy and offer no support to your head. The bathroom was clean. The hill up to the hotel is very steep if youre walking. Hard work with a heavy suitcase, especially on the cobbles! Surrounding area nice. Very friendly hosts, who helped us check in early when we arrived the morning of England’s group game in Frankfurt so a fair travel, but were extremely accommodating and meant we were able to get to the match early. Stayed here for the rest of the tournament and was a nice hub to travel to neighbouring cities. Thankyou!"

"Convenient to get to Merode. Unfortunately we stayed the night there was a large group also staying and there was a lot of noise. We were also mostly unable to use the kitchen because the group that was staying kind of took it over. Parking and access was a bit tricky, as another guest had parked in two spots, so we had to find a place a few blocks away. The keypad for the door was a bit sensitive. The room and bathroom were clean and comfortable."
