"Great house in the middle of the fields. You have everything you need. We didn’t use kitchen tools but it seemed to be fool. we used the fireplace as an attraction although it was not so cold these days it was great for an evening together. the bed is uncomfortable with a spring mattress. the sewerage and ventilation in the shower worked poorly. 10/10 for accommodation atmosphere and cleanliness."

"Forgan Cottage was a great place to stay for the four of us on our golf trip to St Andrews. Facilities were clean and well cared for. Location is excellent - if you want to walk you are within 15 minutes of just about everything of significance in St Andrews. While no onsite parking - there is ample free parking nearby. "The house is exactly as pictured but they don’t do it justice. From the moment we opened the door it was nothing short of a perfect 4 days. Jamie and Lisa are welcoming and ensure everything is thought of. The only part of the stay that was a bummer was having to leave. "

"Buckhood cottage had everything needed, clean and functional. The kitchen was a good size with the best view to look at while washing up. Beds were comfy and slept very well. Only issue was the shower, very low pressure and runs scorching hot and freezin cold. Overall a very good stay. Xxx"

"Had a lovely weekend staying at Birnie Cottage. Aileen was great at giving information prior to our arrival and gave us a lovely welcome with scones, butter and jam. The cottage had everything we needed and was very comfortable. The garden is beautiful and we were lucky enough to be able to sit out 2 evenings enjoying the sun and the garden. "This property was exactly as expected and really good value. The location is lovely and really convenient for hiking, mountain biking and all the area has to offer. Ballater is very close (less than 10 min cycle). Interior is exactly as in the photos. Plenty of space for boots, coats etc. Comfortable beds with lovely linen. "

The advert did not make it clear that the cottage is next to a road of fast flowing traffic, and that parking is next to the road, which is dangerous for getting a dog from the car to the cottage. There are no dog walks nearby. The inclusion of the hot tub drew us in, but we were not going to pay an extra £100 to use it. "Our property was close to Aviemore town but on a pretty, quiet little estate.It had everything we needed for our walking holiday in Scotland. I was most impressed with the brilliant shower and the house was warm, comfortable and well equipped. Excellent communication throughout and I would recommend without hesitation.
