"Miss Lorraine & Mr. James were such gracious hosts; very responsive, flexible, and made everything very easy. We had issues with flight cancellation/changing dates and they were very accommodating. The pictures of the house don’t do it justice. It’s very clean, comfortable and prime location to yacht club/restaurants. Amenities included laundry, beach chairs, AC and full kitchen. We rented a golf cart too, which was great to explore the island. My kids were almost in tears to leave, we will def be back. Highly recommend. "

"Ocean views from every window! Beautiful home, well decorated, felt cozy! The host was an excellent communicator, helped to arrange a private boat tour to Compass Cay, swimming with the pigs, Thunderball Grotto & a wonderful lunch at Staniel Cay Yacht Club!! They also found us a private chef which was the best experience! The people are all very friendly, always felt safe, and we walked everywhere, but there is a car available to the guests for a small daily fee if you prefer that. "

"Great little VRBO right in the middle of Black Point. Walking distance to everything. Host has rental golf cart if needed as well as boats. She picked us up from airport, gave us a tour of the island and dropped us off when we left. Can’t wait to go again in the spring. "

"Wonderful place and even better hosts. Our AC went out and they put us up in another place for one night and had an entire brand new unit in one day. Also she cooked us wonderful conch fritters and the best carrot cake ever. If you want an off the beaten path true Bahamian experience this is a must do! So safe the people are wonderful. Don’t forget to visit Lorraine’s mom. For the most insane coconut bread ever and Lorraine’s cafe for amazing food. Rent a boat for the day and explore all the wonderful islands! "
