My only problem is the old styled elevator. I came back after hour and the last person who used the elevator did not manually close the door so elevator was stuck all the way up on the top floor. I had to walk up 4 flights of stairs. If u have mobility issues, do not book this place. The parkimg situation is thenqorst and the overnight person very horrible to deal with. "Staying at hotel America was like staying in a Soviet era tower block in Moscow in the 1970s.
My room was very cold and I had to request heating to be put on. Even with the extra (old and grubby) blanket I was cold all night. The room has probably not been updated since the building was constructed so the bright blue bathroom suite with missing plugs was like something from the 1970s.
On the positive side, public areas are clean and up-to-date and the staff are pleasant.
