"All around fantastic. "

"Immediately when we entered the room it smelled like sewage. It was even worse than sewage because it was mixed with a scented moisture absorber that made the scent even stronger. The air conditioning had been off and the room was hot and humid. Once we turned it on it got a bit better but then the next morning we were woken up by construction in the room directly next to us. We shared a wall with the room that was being Jack hammered, drilled, and straight up demolished. It was so loud and the walls were paper thin, we could hear the conversations between the workers. This began around 10am every morning. We usually are early risers, so it did not effect our sleep much but it endured every time we were in the room up until around 5pm. The soap dispensers in our room were that of a public restroom and the shower curtain was thin and would stick to your body as you showered. The sewage smell came from the shower drain and the light in the bathroom never turned off— but we had to close the bathroom door anyway to avoid smelling sewage all night so, problem solved! The pool tile was damaged and old, there were a lot of young Dutch kids who were loud and kept splashing everyone sat by the pool with their cannon balls & volleyball games. This hotel was great for a young kid that wants to party all the time and is too drunk to care about the room odor, but we would not recommend it for couples that are looking for a more relaxing vacation."

"The rooms are small! Hotel is extremely overpriced. The mattress is thin, pillows small and the cover was really thin. There is no mirror and the ceiling leaks when AC is on. The balcony is a joke. Pool area closes at 6pm. The employees at the restaurant pool area are rude and standoffish. They only cater to those who look like them. I am confused as to how this hotel has so many good reviews. The only good thing about this hotel is the area. Shaniya who works at the front desk was really nice and did her best to make our stay better. Overall, I would not recommend, you can find better options."

"The rooms were clean and that cleaning team was quick with our room and anything we needed. The food at the restaurants was not that good. Breakfast ordered from room service was average. "

"Poor meals choices. Food was very salty, tasteless. Recycled lunch menu for dinner. Food was not label so you had no clue what you were eating. Staff attitude stinks especially front desk staff. Hyaat needs to do something with this resort as it is a slump. "

"The room was wet when we arrive and was not so clean, but the staff was very friendly except the restaurant staff but a beautiful place to go. We had a blast there. Thank you very much "

"There are not a lot of restaurants, supermarkets close to the property. The pool is really nice but please add parasols. Many chairs are in the sun all day. It’s very inconvenient and dare I say dangerous. Staff friendliness depends. They are very nice at the breakfast. The mini market could have more variety of products and is way too expensive. 9$ US for a bag of chips is a rip off. "
