We stayed here after attending a concert at villa park. The host was welcoming even though we checked in very late. The room was basic but comfy beds. There was quite alot of noise from other guests but overall you get what you pay for.
The location was convenient for us and the price was good. Don't know if I'd stay again given the choice though.
Pretty dilapidated and dirty. Did not feel comfortable climbing into the grimy shower at all.
If you're in a pinch and need something last-minute or you really can't afford anything else then go for it. You could do worse.
This was a very cheap hotel, so I supposed i should not complain too much.
The man at reception was polite and helpful.
The room itself was OK - clean with bed, TV, wardrobe.
But the shared bathroom was not up to scratch. I don't know how often it was cleaned, but clearly not often. And there was a huge gap between the shower tray and floor.
Also there was a huge amount of noise from people running up and down stairs in the small hours of the morning.
But as I say, it was cheap so I suppose it was value for money.
I get the stay is cheap and cannot expect the world... but i am not exaggerating when i say that nothing worked.
TV didn't work, shower drain system was blocked, bed springs were sticking out. Black mould in the room also.
Was the worst stay and if you want your own bathrooms they charge you cash to get this where as the app doesnt make it clear youll be sharing bathrooms never again booking hotel.com and never starying at this losge again.
The accommodation must be better for living no matter how many days of stay. There were bugs seen at first night of our stay but fortunately our children didn’t notice it otherwise it would be difficult to stay there for couple of days.
Overall, it isn’t worth to stay there regardless of the less amount of stay.
It was in really bad repair door off shower toilet moved if you sat on it but friendly staff bed comfortable nice to have kitchen amenities would stay there again
We arrived an hour after check in & the room still hadn’t been finished being cleaned. The room was completely different to photos. The toilet was broken so we just left and didn’t stay there
The experience in general was terrible, everywhere was dusty and unclean, booked two night but left after the 1st night considering the fact that my little boy started sneezing and coughing after the 1st night. It cheap no doubt but the least I expect is for the lodge to be dirty
I wouldn’t even give this space one star. The room was disgusting, filthy and uninhabitable. For four female travellers the broken door lock instantly made us feel unsafe. The bathroom was some make shift box full of mould. There was what appeared to be vomit on the curtains. Paired with no electricity and bugs crawling on the beds. We left within 10 minutes of being there and had to rebook accommodation last minute. The hotel also refused a refund despite us leaving being no fault of our own.
The toilet was in bad condition
Room not good. Paint peeling off
Bins not empty
This not an Hotel. Family with kids living there.
Very noisy place
