Transportation to Big Sky from Bozeman Airport In order to experience all that Big Sky has to offer, it is helpful to have access to a vehicle during your stay. This allows you to travel seamlessly throughout the community from the Gallatin River to Lone Peak. While ride-sharing and taxi services are abundant in other communities, Big Sky remains a small town with limited options for transportation. We offer a 5% discount code to Explore Rentals for confirmed guests. They are located minutes away from the Bozeman Airport and provide 4 wheel drive vehicles with dedicated snow tires in the winter and all-season tires in the summer!

Ski Access Guide This home is not ski-in/ski-out but Ski accessible. Once the lifts open skiing access is as convenient as it gets! Simply cross the street to join the green Alpine Meadows access trail, which leads directly to the Madison base, where you’ll find various lifts and the ski school. Moonlight Basin lifts are set to open on December 15th, and no ski access is available before then. Ski Out: The home sits on the Alpine Meadows access trail. Head out the garage door on the main level, then take an immediate left around the house to access the Alpine Meadows trail. Once on the trail, turn right (north) on the Alpine Meadows access, which connects to Hideaway and the Madison Base Area. Ski In: Return from either Moonlight Basin or Big Sky. Take the Ironhorse Lift to Powder River, then ski through the tunnel and continue past the first skier bridge. Make a sharp right onto Natawista Run (not marked well), which transitions into the Bootlegger Access. Follow signs for Alpine Meadows, turn left, and cross the long skier bridge. Then, make a right onto the small access trail directly across from the garage.
