「The Antietam Overlook Inn is a wonderful B&B perfectly situated on a hilltop in the Maryland Piedmont, just minutes away from Antietam Nat'l Battlefiield, Sharpsburg MD and Shepherdstown WV. The wilderness setting is stunning -- I saw more wildlife in one hour drinking my morning coffee than I saw in an entire day in Shenandoah Nat'l Park. The staff prepared a delicious communal breakfast for the 3 couples staying that night along with us. Great for pets -- they have a Frenchie, a farm cat...

「エレベーターがないため、重いトランクを3階まで上げるのは大変でした。イギリスのような古い建物のため仕方ないのでしょうが、フロントにはオーナーの女性が一人いるだけなので、手伝いが必要な方には不向きな宿だと思います。 部屋は広くて快適でしたがやはりTVがないのと、洗面所が狭すぎるのは不便だと感じました。朝食はとても良かったです。部屋も清潔でした。」

「The property is beautiful.I can only imagine how nice it will be after the renovations are complete. Lovely porch to sit on and watch the rain. Lovely private bath with beautiful clawfoot tub. I met my cousin here. It was half way between Pittsburgh and DC. We picked a bad few days, in that everything is closed on Tuesdays and Wednesdays. That gave us a lot of quiet time to relax」
