"Location is perfect for Petoskey get away, with view of the Bay. Close to downtown, with charming shopping and very close to additional shopping like Ross, Marshall’s, Home Goods while still giving the feeling of “being up north”. Conveniently near a variety of chain restaurants if you want to mix it up with dining the charming ones in town. About 40 minutes away from the tunnel of trees with a spectacular look in the Fall. Clean decently comfortable beds. Fridge, microwave, tv, all you really need. About 45 minutes to Mackinac city if you want close but to still have more available to do. Friendly staff. Easy check in and out. Will be our GO TO spot for future up north getaways!"

"We had such an amazing time at Cabins on Maple River. The cabin and property are absolutely stunning. The balcony over looking the river was so relaxing and peaceful. We did have a few very minor issues like the front bedroom bathroom sink was very clogged up but in a half hour i had it pkungered out and draining fine. The lights in the upstairs hallway were burned out so i bought some new ones and took care of that. Someone staying before us unpaired the remote for the back bedroom took a while but got it paired back to the tv. This place is a must stay and we will definitely be back next year. It is close to Boyne Mnt. And Spring Harbor, Nobs Nub too. The area was beautiful and the people were so nice. You have to stay here to understand just how nice and peaceful it is. "We were a group of 11 and all Seniors. The rooms were all so interesting as the house was decorated with some beautiful artwork. We took advantage of a fun game room, home theater room, hot tub and pontoon boat! We cruised and fished on Mullet Lake. While staying here we took a day trip to Makinaw Island which was a 40 minute drive to catch the ferry… very convenient!The beds were comfortable and the kitchen well equipped. Jill and Jim were very helpful and responsive with any questions we had.The only down side was the steps to the lake but by the end of the week we were all in better shape. "
