When I called and spoke with manager, there was a lot of back and forth, with some belittling from him; he swore there were no items in the room and insisted I do not drive back from the airport to look for the items. 「Nice quaint hotel right off 26, convenient to Asheville or east to Hwy 74. Enjoyed our stay and continental breakfast with waffle iron was more than adequate. Great, friendly staff. Highly recommend. 」

「The inside of the property was great, it was very clean, well designed and well taken care of. Breakfast was plentiful, but there were no “clean” options for eating. Outside the hotel was disappointing and the reason we won’t be back. Homeless people walking through the parking lot, staying on the hill beside the building, it was not very comfortable.」
