「The stay was great. To say it was old is an understatement, 700 years is the oldest I've ever stayed in and the condition the owners have maintained is brilliant. If you're looking for a historical twee experience, go for this. The cost of the hotel and meals is inexpensive and good quality, the breakfast basic continental but Ok. We loved it.」

「Book last minute room and arrive late with the key pick up. Everything was perfect as it should be. Room is super clean, great value for money thanks everyone.」

Only down side was there was no lift. Stairs a little steep - I travelled with my mum who is in her 80’s and she found the stairs a little hard. 」

「The pub abd the associated guest rooms are excellent. The area is quiet and peaceful, with easy access to the A10 routes to London or Cambridge. The local town of Ware is a gem for dining and shopping.」

「The staff make the Bell - we were warmly welcomed on checking in, and bar/restaurant service was friendly and efficient too. The room and dinner were both good value and good quality. We’ll look out for Greene King inns on future trips, as this was a very good and enjoyable experience all round. 」
