"Beatiful centrally located charming boutique hotel with free parking. The standard size room is generous with a pull out sofa and double sinks in the bathroom which is a WOW. Nicely appointed decor (recently updated; hotel is owned by Chumash tribe; managed by Marriott as a Tribute Portfolio Collection brand). Safe, coffee maker, mini fridge, two robes... Great lighting; in closet, lighted open shelves in bathroom. Nice reading lights. Husband really liked that sensor light near floor on his side of bedt hat lit when he moved about in the middle of the night. Quiet central air!!! Staff was efficient, helpful,friendly. Bellman greeted guests at entrance. Nice touch. Although it was Julefest in Solvang; hotel was fully booked, plenty of free parking. We parked the car, once and walked everwhere in town. "

"My room was very clean, the bed very comfy. The breakfast gazebo has been remodeled nicely offering 2 areas to get coffee juice and pastries. Originally, there were few tables to eat within the small gazebo. Most take their goodies I back to their rooms, so better flow now. I also noted new benches and plants for seating in the garden area. Very pleasant, quiet garden."
