「Convenient location & easy parking」

「Great stay for a quick college visit!!」

「Susan welcomed us at the front desk. Very courteous and helpful. I have stayed there before with my late husband. My daughter was with me this time. We were so sad to leave. Nice clean rooms, breakfast, indoor pool, hot tub, and the view of the river! Couldn't ask for anything else. We can't wait to go back!」

「The hotel is in a good area, it's close to bojangles and the famous "Haywood Smokehouse". The owners let us check in early which was a plus! The room is old looking, pillows were flat, there was some repairs. Room was clean. We might stay here again.」

「The room was clean but you could smell the room before you even opened the door. Wasn't sure if it was cleanser or air freshener or what but it was overwhelming and hard to relax. Also the room was so small you could barely walk around the beds to get to the sink (which was oddly far away from the bathroom) or the bathroom itself. Was not a welcoming environment in the room at all. The river in back was nice but the property itself is right off a main road with railroad tracks you have to cross...

「My room was clean and quiet and had a very comfortable bed. Parking was plentiful and close to my room. Unfortunately the Wi Fi was out the entire four days of my stay; at least, I couldn’t get the TV to work. I also wish they had hand towels to use by the sink. They only supply small bath towels and wash clothes. Overall this is an acceptable budget stay.」

「Owner sorted out some hassles with the initial identification verification process that they require, but after that, everything was great and hassle free. Would stay here again.」

「From the very beginning, the Balsam Mountain Inn sang to me. I'd never been here before. I wanted a bed and breakfast near the Blue Ridge Parkway; and, yes, something affordable. The Inn is a HALF MILE from the Parkway, and the price was right for our mid-week getaway. Such an interesting, historic place. Between Waynesville & Sylva. So relaxing!」

「This hotel was in a perfect location to all the sites we wanted to visit. It was very clean with ample parking, and it had all the essential amenities to make our stay a comfortable one. The mattress on the bed was a perfect firmness--we slept great and had no backaches. The shower had plenty of hot water and strong water pressure. The vanity was not in the bathroom, so an early riser could potentially disrupt someone else's sleep with the light. Overall, we were impressed with this hotel. We...
