「I made a three-night reservation and because my wife and I are 90 & 86, covered it with cancellation insurance. During my Friday afternoon car trip from Destin, Florida to the hotel, the power steering failed. 「Took a very long time to check in because one clerk could not get into the computer system. This is an older building w outside room doors and no elevator. My room directly faced a pair of huge electrical conduit boxes sitting in parking spaces. I could not get the shower to function.」

「The room was exceptionally clean and well maintained`. Everything worked, bed was super comfortable, and the on-site managers were extremely responsive, friendly and helpful. Great security, ample parking, close to everything. It was our first stay and we will definitely be back.」

「Check in was a breeze ( self ) Property was as described in the photos. Perfect for self launching. We are new so went to Kayak Shack around the corner for launch and instructions. Property reminds me of the old Islamorada in the 80s. A welcome step back in time. Will be back foe sure」

「This was my first time staying at this hotel. When I arrived the gentleman at the front desk said the key controls the lights. I looked at him puzzled like what are you talking about and he said you gotta put your key in in order to turn on the light. That was not clear direction. 「No kitchen, room had microwave and coffee pot both units cords didn't reach outlets! I had to switch around both to reach an outlet, microwave had be turned on its side as well to use. Coffee offered in room was terrible ended up buying jar of instant, lol」

「Felt like I was walking into a jail and the front desk guy was extremely rude. The bed was very cheap uncomfortable and reminded me of a pull out bed from my couch. The pillows were a disappointment better off using my backpack as a pillow.」
