"Well-maintained property close to Lake Bohinj and the TIC, and all the activities around the lake in Ribčev Laz. Also walkable to the cafés and restaurants in the vicinity if you don’t have a car. The hotel provides a good breakfast that is included in the room plan. Will definitely return and stay here again."

"The hotel is in a great location near the lake. The room was fine and had a balcony. The breakfast was good, as was dinner but you are advised to get there at 19.00 when it opens. The staff were mostly fine, it would have been nice to know about the extra costs for the sauna before getting to the wellness centre, the swimming pool was great though."

"This was a beautiful hotel, we had a room with a balcony, with a view of the mountains, it was so relaxing. The breakfast was amazing, so much variety and everything was so tasty."

"Absolutely amazing property. Really good quality place and the communication and service is top notch. The rooms are spacious and comfortable, the kitchen and living room is perfect for relaxing, cooking, and hanging out, the spa is just so well set up for a hot sauna and jacuzzi after a long day. I even forgot my phone and they offered to drive it half way to the airport for me. Would rate a 15/10 if we could."

"Absolutely great place to stay. 5 mins in a car to a beautiful lake with bars and restaurants that equal views as good as I've ever seen anywhere in Europe. Such a beautiful spot. Food was good, solid, decent. Rooms, showers, beds, cleanliness fab. Breakfast was best I had in 3 hotels we stayed in. Great coffee, hot bread, local butter.....scrambled eggs - refreshed constantly. Staff made it. Great sense of humour with everyone. Gave recommendations - worked their socks off. Had smiles on their faces. "

"Fabulous in a word. We had been to Stara Fazina before and seen Mostnica cottage. As soon as we saw it we started planning to bring a bigger group back. We were not disappointed. We had a fantastic stay. The cottage is so well positioned. It's quiet but has bars, shops and a restaurant within an easy walk. The lake is a 15 min walk so again, relatively easy to get to.We were 4 couples and the Cottage suited us perfectly. We had our own space but also plenty of room for communal dinners and down time. The kitchen is very well appointed and the whole cottage is in very good condition. "

I would have rated the property a lot higher but the description was a misleading - it is not a 3 bedroom appt with a living room. The third bedroom is the living room which meant that with there is very limited communal space if you need 3 bedrooms. "
